Objective To investigate the relationship between cyclins G1, G2 and hemangioma development. Methods The immunohistochemical and quantitative image analysis were used to detect cycline G1 and G2 expressions in 50 hemangioma and 5normal skin tissues. Results There were plenty of brown particles in proliferating hemangioma. , which showed strong cyclin G1 expression. There were few brown particles in involuting hemangioma which showed weak cyclin G1 expression. Few brown particles in proliferating hemangioma, showed weak cyclin G2 expression . While plenty of brown particles in involuting hemangioma, showed strong cyclin G2 expression. Cyclin G1 expression was significantly stronger in the proliferatimg phase and normal skin tissue respec ( P 〈 0. 05 ) ; And cyclin G2 expression as stronger in the than in the proliferative phase and in normal skin tissue respectively (P 〈 0. 05 ) . And cyclim G2 expression was stronger in the involuting phase than in the proliferating phase and normal tissue respectirely (P 〈 0. 05 ) . Conclusion The relationships between cyclins G1 or G2 and hemangionma development are different.
