华裔美国作家、学者的姓名中文怎样处理好

摘　　要：中文发表的华裔美国文学方面的论文在提及作家时，如果作家有中文姓名，还是采用他们的中文姓名好。因为他们不仅是美国人，还是华裔，用中文名字能表示他们的“华裔”身份，何况不少华裔美国作家是认同自己的中文名字的。不少华裔美国人更是通过自己的中文名字恢复由于“契纸儿子”而失去了的自己祖祖辈辈传下来的姓氏。When papers written in Chinese refer to Chinese American writers and scholars,it is advisable to use their Chinese names rather than the transliteration of their English names.Since they are Americans of Chinese descent,using their Chinese names is a way of showing their Chinese identity,not to mention many of the writers and scholars wish to go by their Chinese names in China.What is more important,it is through their Chinese names that many Chinese Americans restore their original surnames lost when their forefathers were admitted into the U.S.as paper sons.
