摘　　要：介绍了瓦当的概念和作用,从图案瓦当和文字瓦当两方面对北朝时期的瓦当进行了探讨,分析了北朝瓦当的美学特色,以提高人们对北朝瓦当的认识,从而促进中国古建筑的研究。The eaves tile concept and function were introduced in the paper. The Bei dynasty evaes tile ware discussed from patterned and literal eaves tile, the artistic characteristic of Bei dynasty were analyzed so as to advance the people＇ s understanding on the Bei dynasty eaves tile and promote research on the China historic building.
