重印版外文图书书名翻译问题对图书馆工作的影响

摘　　要：引进版权外文图书在我国重印出版时,将外文图书的书名翻译成中文名称,并且将中文译名以大字体编排在书名页的显著位置,在版编目数据与一些MARC数据将中文译名作为主书名,由于同种书书名翻译不同,给图书馆分类编目、图书采访和读者服务工作带来了不利影响,文章提出了改进措施。When foreign - language books are reprinted and published in China, their titles are translated into Chinese and put on the most important place of the page. Sometimes the translations of book title are different in CIP （Cataloguing in Publication） and in MARC data. This has brought forth negative effect for book cataloguing, purchasing and reader service in library. The paper puts forward some measures to improve this situation.
