摘　　要：随着人类基因组计划的开展,在基因结构、定位、表达和功能研究等方面都积累了大量的数据,如何充分利用大量已有的网上数据库资源,加速人类基因克隆研究及功能初步研究,同时避免重复工作,节省开支,已成为我们面临的一个急迫而富有挑战性的课题。生物信息学是20世纪80年代末开始,随着基因组测序数据迅猛增加而逐渐兴起的一门新兴学科,它利用计算机对生命科学研究中的生物信息进行存储、检索和分析。它的产生和发展为人们提供了强大的工具,本文就生物信息学方法在识别和鉴定新基因中的应用予以综述。With the development of Human Genome Project, a lot of data in gene structure, position, expression and function research has being accumulated. We are confronted with an urgent and challenging topic： how to further take advantage of these resources and accelerate gene cloning without repeated work and lots of unnecessary expenses. By the end of 1980s, bioinformatics became a newly emerging science with the accelerated augmentation of genome sequencing. It is applied in bioinformation storage, retrieve and analysis through computer. Hence, Bioinformatics is a powerful tool in scientific researching. In this review, the application of bioinformatics in identifying novel genes has been reported.
