摘　　要：George Orwell＇s Animal farm is a satire on human nature. By severe and vivid satiric techniques such as irony, exaggeration, similes and metaphors, Orwell demonstrates that selfishness, lust for power and corruption would lead to the disillusionment of human＇s pursuit of freedom and equality in a classless society.
