摘　　要：针对矿井信息化的幅度加快,对通信带宽的要求越来越大,文章提出了一种基于GEPON的全新的矿井通信技术。根据矿井通信的安全性、实时性和有效性等要求提出了光纤通信在矿井中的必要性,详细介绍了GEPON的原理,并根据井下通信的实际情况给出了GEPON井下通信的具体应用设计模型。As the accelerating of the mine inforamtion that the communication bandwidth request become more and more large. A new coal mine communication technology based on Gigabit Ethernet Positive Optical Network （GEPON）, was introduced in this paper. According to the analysis of coal mine monitoring and communication＇s characteristic, the author proposed the necessity that the fiber optic communication was built in coal mine. Ultimately, an GEPON application model was given.
