摘 要:语言测试经历了几个发展阶段,各个阶段有着不同的理论基础和基本特征。对历年来我国高考英语试题、硕士研究生入学英语考试以及大学英语考试等大规模考试题型的研究结果表明:我国语言测试的实践遵循了理论发展的脉络;目前,我国业已处于语言测试的心理语言学—社会语言学时期,诸多迹象表明交际语言测试已经初现端倪。Language testing has undergone various eras since its emergence, each with different theoretical bases and distinctive features. In an attempt to examine the development of English language testing in China, this paper analyzes the constituent components of the English test papers concerning NMET, NETP, CET 4 and CET6. Results indicate that English testing practice in China complies with the evolution of language testing theory. Data also suggest that language testing at the present stage is in the psycholinguistic-sociolinguistic era, and communicative language testing has already taken shape in China's ELT field.
