摘　　要：约翰.济慈是威廉.福克纳最喜欢的诗人之一,其《希腊古瓮颂》对福克纳产生了重要影响。这首诗通过将意景的流动之美与古瓮浮雕静止之美融合在一起,在瞬间表现中使人们获得了最佳动态效果。福克纳接受了济慈的思想并在众多作品中借鉴了这首诗的艺术技巧,无论是在人物性格塑造,还是价值取向方面都可以看到《希腊古瓮颂》的影响。这篇论文正是基于济慈《希腊古瓮颂》的结构和内涵,结合福克纳作品中人物的性格特征以及他对这些人物的评述,展示了这首诗对其历史观的影响。As one of Faulkner＇s favorite poets, John Keats＇ Ode on the Grecian Urn has a great influence on him. Through the unification of the lively beauty of moving images with the still beauty in carving of the urn, the poem presents an optimal effect in depicting the instant. Faulkner accepted Keats＇ ideas and adopted his artistic techniques in portraying characters and conveying values. Based on the structure and content of the poem, in connection with the personality traits of Faulkner＇s characters and with Faulkner＇s comments on these characters, this paper aims to demonstrate that Keats＇ poem has a great influence on Faulkner＇s view of history.
