诠释另类主题之独特结构——《已知世界》的叙述层次分析

摘　　要：依据赵毅衡的叙述学理论,《已知世界》的多层叙述结构不仅具有审美价值,而且是为其历史题材的主题特性量身定做的,同时,从分层的叙述学功用分析,各层次递进有效服务于情节发展,深刻揭露复杂、残酷的黑人奴隶制社会的主题。研究表明,作者爱德华.P.琼斯的独特叙述策略使《已知世界》这一讲述黑人奴隶主的另类主题的作品得到最佳诠释。According to ZHAO Yi-heng＇ s theory of Narratologies, the narrative levels in The Known World not only contribute to building up a beautiful structure, but fit the novel＇ s historical theme. Meanwhile, each level serves to develop the story, and to explore the deep meaning of a complex and cruel black slavery from the functions of narratologies. As a result, it is proved that the unique narrative strategies by Edward P. Jones is most suitable to The Known World, which tells a special theme on a black slaveholder.
