摘 要:信道估计是超宽带通信系统必须加以解决的关键技术之一.针对PPM-TH-UWB系统和PAM-DS-UWB系统的不同特点,通过分析它们的体系结构、信号和信道模型,结合最大似然估计方法(ML),研究了辅助符号数对PPM-TH-UWB系统和PAM-DS-UWB系统的性能影响.在接收端采用最大比合并选择性Rake接收机的情况下,通过分析两者信道估计产生的时延和损耗,证明直接序列超宽带系统(DS-UWB)在误码率等性能方面优于跳时脉冲幅度调制(TH-UWB).Channel estimation is one of the key technologies in the ultra-wideband communications systems. In this paper,the architectures, signals and IEEE 802.15.3a channel models of Direct-Sequence UWB system and Time- Hopping system were analyzed according to their different features. With maximum likelihood channel estimation, the effect of assistant sign numbers on these two systems were studied. With the receiving end adopting Most Ratio Combined (MRC) Rake receiver, following an analyzing to the delay and loss generated by channel estimates, we proved that the DS-UWB system is advantageous in low SNR to binary time-hopping pulse-amplitude-modulation system.
