E-cadherin和β-catenin在食管鳞状细胞癌中的表达及其意义

摘　　要：目的:探讨上皮型钙粘素(E-cadherin,E-cad)和β-连环素(β-catenin,β-cat)在食管鳞状细胞癌(ESCC)中的表达及其与临床病理特征的关系。方法:采用免疫组织化学En Vision法检测60例ESCC组织和15例正常食管组织中E-cad和β-cat的表达,分析其表达与ESCC临床病理特征的关系。结果:(1)E-cad和β-cat在ESCC组织中的异常表达率分别为61.67%(37/60)和66.67%(40/60),高于正常食管组织(0.00%,0.00%)(P<0.01);(2)E-cad和β-cat在中低分化、侵及肌层及有淋巴结转移患者中的异常表达率分别高于高分化、未侵及肌层及无淋巴结转移患者(P<0.01);(3)ESCC中E-cad和β-cat的表达呈正相关(r=0.679,P<0.01)。结论:ESCC中E-cad和β-cat异常表达促进了肿瘤的浸润和发展,可能作为监测肿瘤恶性程度和判断预后的指标。Objective： To investigate the correlations between the expressions of E-cadherin （E-cad） and β-catenin （β-cat） and the clinicopathologic features in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Methods： Immunohistochemical EnVision method was used to determine the expressions of E-cad and β-cat in 60 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and 15 cases of normal esophageal tissues, and their correlations to the clinicopathologic characteristics of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were analyzed. Results： （1） The abnormal expression rates of E-cad and β-cat were 61. 67% （37/60） and 66. 67% （40/60） in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and which were higher than those in normal esophageal tissues （0.00% ,0.00%） （P d0.01）. （2） The abnormal expression rates of E-cad and β-cat were higher in the middle-low differentiation, infiltration into muscular layer, lymphatic metastasis groups than in the high differentiation, no infiltration into muscular layer, nonmetastatic groups, the differences were statistically significant （P 0.01）. （3） E-cad expression was positively correlated to β-cat in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma （r = 0. 679, P （0.01）. Conclusions： The abnormal expressions of E-cad and β-cat promoted the infiltration and development of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and might be used as valuable molecular markers for the tumor progression, recurrence and prognosis.
