Objective To study the effect and complications of interventional therapy ot ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Methods 10 patients with pereutaneous transluminal angloplasty and stenting, the therapy effects were evaluated by DSA and followed up for one to twenty one months after operation. Results There were 10 branches of 10 patients were set with stents, the right location were proved by DSA after operation. The success rate was 100%. The results showed that 6 branches had no remained stenosis, 4 have 10% - 20% remained stenosis. One patient had complications as ischemic cerebrovascular disease and blood pressure decrease, one case had heart rate slower and blood pressure decrease, and one case had haematoma on the place of puncture. All the patients were gotten right after treatment. The results of following - up did not show any abnormal. There were no blood stenosis occurred again by color Doppler in carotid arterial and transcranial Doppler. Conclusion Interventional therapy of ischemic cerebrovascular disease is a new method to cure ischemic cerebrovascular disease ; it is a micro - trauma, safe and effective method. Its short - term effect of therapy is affirmed, but its long -term effect should be proved by follow observe for long time.
