摘　　要：应用简洁的Galerkin算法分析了方形波导的传输特性,将电场横向分量展成一组正交正弦函数级数的形式,代入电磁场的波动方程得到电场横向分量展开系数的矩阵和模式的特征方程,求解该特征方程,可得到方形波导模式的传播常数,模场分布.The propagation character of square waveguide is studied by the terse Galerkin method. We formulate transverse electric field by orthogonal sine series expansion for the electromagnetic wave equation,the coefficient matrix and the mode eigen equation can he obtained with the algorithm,hence the propagation constant and the mode field distribution of square waveguide can be calculated.
