摘 要:中国现代早期都市诗皆出自留学生在异域大都会的经验。《纽约城》、《自己的写照》以纽约的都市景象为题,前者短小,节奏明快,后者繁复,格律严整,既是孙大雨的名作,也是中国现代都市诗的名篇。与其前的西方现代主义都市诗及此后生成于中国的都市诗相比,留学生的都市诗属于前现代主义之作,这和他们处身异域都市却不属于那里的特点有关。Early urban poems in contemporary China were born out of the experience of overseas students. New York City and A Portrait of Myself both draw on the same subject matter of the metropolitan scenes of New York; the former is short with a strong rhythm, while the latter is long with a neat strict form, and both are the masterpieces of Sun Dayu as well as famous urban poems in contemporary China. Compared with western urban poems typical of modernism and urban poems born in China, the urban poems by overseas students remain with pre - modernism because of their characteristic - - being in a foreign metropolis but feeling no belongingness.
