摘　　要：一直以来,针对伊迪丝.华顿作品的评论总是着眼于父权社会对女性的压迫,事实上,男性同样被父权社会所规定的性别角色限制着。本文分析了《欢乐之家》中华顿对男性权威的解构,揭示父权制不仅对女性来说是一种枷锁,对男性亦是如此。The comments on Edith Wharton were all along about the oppression to women m pamarcny society. In fact, men were also limited by the sex role provided for in patriarchy society. The author analyzed Edith Wharton＇s deconstruction of male superiority in The House of Mirth to reveal that patriarchy was a yoke for both women and men.
