摘　　要：我国各级政府门户网站均建设了英文网站;然而,通过对这些网站的研读后,笔者发现政府网站的英文翻译质量差强人意,有必要呼吁有关部门高度重视英文版的建设,让网站起到对外宣传的良好作用。Many departments of Chinese government have their English websites, but study reveals obvious problems in the English translations. It is crucial for all departments concerned to attach greater importance to the establishment and improvement of the English websites so that they can play their positive roles in Sino-foreign communication.
