摘　　要：本文对闽都文化的内涵与历史分期作了初步探讨,着重论析了闽都文化的内在特质及其成因,认为:闽都独特的自然地理环境、悠久的历史文化沉淀以及长期为"都"的历史地位塑造了闽都文化内陆性与海洋性兼具的特质,培育了闽都文化和合儒雅的精神气质、崇礼重教的文化传统、稳健谨慎的生活态度以及经世务实的价值观念。This article preliminary discusses the question of intension and historical stage of Mindu Culture, also makes a special effort to analyses its characteristic and the cause of formation. It points out the factors, such as distinctive physical geographic environment, time-honoured culture interia, and his- torical standing as Fuiian centre during long time, portrays the characteristics of Mindu Culture featured by both inland and maritime characteristics. And meanwhile, all these factors breed Mindu Culture with the makings of harmony and erudite, the tradition of worship Confucian and education, the life style of steady and prudentand the values of managing state affairs and realism
