摘　　要：对船体极限总纵强度的研究作了简要回顾．通过对不确定性因素的研究，指明对船体极限总纵强度作可靠性研究是必要的．A simple review of investigations into ultimate longitudinal strength of ships is presented. The study of the uncertainty shows that it is necessary to analyse the reliability for ultimate longitudinal strength of ships.
