摘　　要：Sox基因家族作为一个新发现的基因家族，已被确定与生长发育存在密切关系。该家族成员基因的突变可引起多种先天性疾病，同时其表达的改变还可导致多种类型的肿瘤。文章综述了Sox基因家族的特点、功能以及与先天性疾病和肿瘤的相关性。Sox gene family is a new gene family which plays crucial roles in the development. The mutation of Sox gene family will lead to congenital diseases, and the change of their expressions will cause cancers. This review summarizes the characteristics and the functions of Sox gene family, and its association with the congenital diseases and the cancers.
