摘　　要：在美国,爱伦.坡是19世纪初的一位文学怪才,其小说、诗歌和文学批评理论都已成为全世界珍贵的文学宝库中不可缺少的一个组成部分,他的哥特式小说至今风行于世,他因而被誉为"美国恐怖小说之父"。在中国,蒲松龄的志怪小说《聊斋志异》可谓"家喻户晓,妇孺皆知",300多年来经久不衰。两位文学巨匠举世瞩目,都表现出对超现实的鬼怪题材的偏嗜。AllAn Poe, who known as ＂the farther of American horror fiction＂, is an American literary talent. in the early nineteenth century, whose novels, poems and literature criticism theories have become valuable treasures of the whole world and his gothic novels are still popular now;Pu Song- ling＇s Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio （supematural tales） is wellknown in China and has an everlasting influence for more than 300 years. Coincidentally, the two literature masters showed deep interest in the same ghost theme.
