摘  要:艾萨克·巴什维斯·辛格被誉为"当代最会讲故事的小说大师"。他在作品中塑造过许多女性形象,她们要么是受到褒扬的贤妻良母,要么就是遭到贬抑的祸水红颜,评论界普遍认为辛格的创作昭显鲜明的男性立场。然而,其短篇小说代表作《女扮男装求学记》中的燕特尔却迥异于辛格模式化的女性形象。通过运用荣格的"阿尼姆斯"原型理论解读燕特尔,探究她的种种怪诞行为,可以发现其异特的思想和行为根源于"阿尼姆斯"原型统摄的心理环境,她最终选择放弃,悄然遁离拜切夫镇,正是自我意识在"阿尼姆斯"原型投射下与犹太传统社会意识冲突碰撞的必然宿命。从心理学角度考察燕特尔的精神世界,洞悉其最自由的心灵体验,拓展了辛格小说人物研究的视角和维度。Isaac Bashevis Singer is regarded as the greatest contemporary master of story - telling. In his works, he portrayed a number of female characters, who were either flattened as good wives and good mothers, or treated as immoral seducers. Literary reviews seem to reach a general consensus that his creation reveals a significantly distinct male standpoint. However, Yentl, heroine of his masterpiece "Yentl the Yeshiva Boy" is quite different from the pattern of female images. To explore Yentl's various bizarre actions by means of Jung's "Animus" prototype theory helps to conclude that Yentl's idiosyncrasy is rooted in her psychological environment dominated by "animus" prototype, and that her final fleeing is an inevitable result from the conflict between her autonomous complex and the traditional Jewish social consciousness. The investigation of Yentl's spiritual world and her inner experience by the psychological approach develops a new perspective and dimension of Singer's character interpretation.
