摘　　要：目的:调查青少年阶段牙弓后段的生长变化情况。方法:对750名8～18岁青少年全牙列曲面体层片进行测量统计。结果:女生14岁,男生16岁以后牙弓后段长度趋于稳定;同一个体中有第三磨牙牙胚侧的牙弓后段长度比无第三磨牙牙胚侧要长。结论:了解牙弓后段的增龄变化对磨牙的拔除和保留的矫治设计有重要意义。Objective：To investigate the development of retromolar space in adolescents. Method： The orthopanto-mography records of 750 adolescents aged from 8 to 18 were examined and analyzed. Result： The retromolar space tended to steady at the age of 14 in female and 16 in male： the retromolar space of the side with third molar was larger than the other side without it in the same boby. Conclusion： The growth of the retromolar spce is important for the design of orthodontic treatment.
