从英语测试史的发展看医学英语考试的改革

摘　　要：本文从对语言能力的认识、测试方法、测试内容和主要特征等方面简要地回顾了英语测试史的四个发展时期，指出交际测试法是英语测试的发展方向。通过对全国卫生系统外语水平考试的介绍与分析，提出医学英语改革的思路：建立卫生系统人员医学英语能力标准，设定等级；整合目前卫生系统内的英语考试；新的卫生系统英语水平考试应该采用全新的理论框架，以先进的外语测试理论为指导，全面、综合地测评受试者的语言运用能力，采用理论和实践相结合的完善的测试方法，提出适合评估卫生系统人员英语水平的考试设计。This article reviews briefly the historic overview of foreign language testing in terms of language ability, testing method and testing content in attempt to point out communicative testing will be the dominant approach of foreign language testing . While discussing the problems of state foreign language proficiency test for medical staff （LPT） , relevant suggestions are made as to how to reform the present LPT evaluation system.
