摘　　要：建设社会主义新农村是中华民族21世纪的宏伟工程,需要全社会的共同谋划和参与。区域高校毗邻广袤的农村,以立足地方为办学定位和特色,具有多种资源优势和地利之便,因而可以便捷、经济地为社会主义新农村建设提供知识、人才、技术和信息支持,为广大农民提供各种服务,并引领农民兄弟进入文明和谐的思想、精神家园。The construction of the new socialist countryside is the magnificent project of our China in the 21th century which requires the participation and support of the whole nation. Regional colleges and universities, which are adjacent to the rural areas, have the advantages of various resources and the convenience of geographical position. They are mainly rurality-orlented and aim at meeting the needs of the local areas. Therefore, they can provide the farmers swiftly, conveniently and economically with knowledge, technologies, information, services and talents in constructing the new socialist countryside, and guide the farmers to build a civilized and harmonious society.
