摘　　要：从国际背景考察,新加坡倡导"亚洲价值观"的初衷是为了回应西方国家的人权外交。新加坡有自己的人权观,它提出"亚洲价值观"是一项保护国家利益的举措,一种维护国家主权的外交策略;是对西方人权外交的对抗性反应,是特定时期的产物;是文化相对主义的一种表现。In the international background, Singapore＇s warm advocation of Asian Values is not only an antagonism response to human rights diplomacy of the Western countries , but also a diplomatic measure to protecting nation＇s interest and rights. So to Singapore, the advocation of Asian Values is the production in special time and the expression of cultural relativism.
