摘　　要：因为对诗歌的共同热爱,伍尔芙与福克纳的小说都自然地呈现出诗化倾向,又由于作家的个人风格不同,他们的诗化小说各具特色,但两位作家在诗化小说的探索方面有着异曲同工之妙,他们都打破了传统小说的只是简单刻画人物和叙述故事的模式,将诗歌的象征意象与浪漫的激情融入小说中,从而赋予小说新的审美内涵。Due to their common love for poems, Virginia Woolf and William Faulkner have poetic tendency in their novels. However, because of their different styles, their poetic novels are unique, but they share similarities in the exploration of poetic novels in that they get rid of the traditional mode of simply depicting figures and narrating story in novels and involve the symbolic meaning of poems and romantic passion into the novels, thus endowing the novels new aesthetic connotation.
