摘　　要：钱伟长高等教育思想是其生活经历、求学历程、治学经验和治校实践的产物。他提出并回答了"办什么样的大学"、"培养什么样的人才"和"如何培养社会需要的人才"的问题。这些问题意识具有丰富的内涵、缘起和意义。QINA Wei-chang＇ s thoughts on higher education is the product of his life experience, education, experience of pursuing his studies, and practice of managing universities. They put forward and answered questions like ＂what kind of university to run＂, ＂what kind of talents to cultivate＂, and ＂how to cultivate them＂. The paper deals with the connotations, reasons, and significance of the questions.
