摘　　要：分析了我国图书馆面临的严峻形势,从延伸与拓展两个方面对图书馆的未来发展提出了自己的见解:我国图书馆界应紧跟科技发展的步伐,将图书馆的传统业务深化、细化、精化、强化,把过去单一的被动服务转变为多元的主动服务,借助资源优势拓展服务领域和服务方式,主动参与到民族文化建设和国家的政治生活中去,承担起更多的社会责任。With an introduction and analysis of the challenges that world libraries are currently facing, this paper presents two opinions of extension and expansion of library services. It is necessary that Chinese libraries extend their existing services with high technologies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency. It is also desirable that the libraries transform their passive services to active services by expanding their service areas and approaches. Chinese libraries should take more social responsibilities and actively participate in and contribute to the construction of national culture.
