摘　　要：尤金.奥尼尔的戏剧《送冰的人来了》虽然是一部沉重的、虚无主义的悲剧,但又充满了嬉笑怒骂的喜剧色彩,表现出一种巴赫金所称颂的狂欢精神。狂欢使人们暂时摆脱了无所不在的秩序和外部世界的价值取向,在白日梦中顽强地生存下去。同时,《送冰的人来了》又是一部充满微观话语、社会杂语和他人话语的复调戏剧。Although Eugene O＇Neill＇s play The Iceman Cometh is nihilistic in nature, it is rife with hilarious humor and carnival spirit, which temporarily relieves people from their failures and the harsh rules of the outside world and enables them to survive in their pipe dreams. Meanwhile, the play is polyphonic in that it contains lots of dialogues, discourses and different voices.
