摘　　要：碳基薄膜,如金刚石、类金刚石(DLC)和碳纳米管(CNT)等,具有独特的电子、力学、化学特性,且易制备,作为冷阴极场发射材料在平板显示领域有潜在的应用价值而引起了人们的极大兴趣。简要回顾了碳基薄膜的发展历史,综述了碳基薄膜的场发射机理及研究进展。Carbon-based films,for example,diamond film,diamond-like carbon（DLC）and carbon nanotube（CNT）have attracted much attention because they have unique electric,chemical,mechanical properties and can be prepared easily.One important potential application for the carbon-based films is as electron field emission sources in cold cathode flat panel displays.The history of carbon-based films,its field emission mechanism and recent research progress have been described and reviewed.
