摘　　要：藏族传统数学是藏族传统文化中兼具深奥理论和实际应用价值的重要部分,其发展历史在中国数学史乃至世界数学史上都颇有特点。文章初步探讨了藏族传统数学的产生、发展、内容及其特点,揭示了藏族传统数学在藏族传统文化和经济发展过程中的重要作用。Tibetan traditional mathematics is a part of Tibetan traditional culture with abstruseness theory and worthiness of application. The developing history of Tibetan traditional mathematics is an important part of Chinese and that of the world as well. This paper presents the significant function of tradition- al Tibetan culture and economic development from the perspective of traditional Tibetan mathematics by preliminary research of creation, developing, content, and the characteristics of Tibetan traditional mathematics.
