摘　　要：汉英语码混用现象在中国改革开放日益深入,加入WTO、申奥和申博接连成功的语境下,显得越来越普遍。但语言学界对此现象却褒贬不一。文章从修辞学角度对这种现象做了合理性阐释,视之为一种独特的修辞手段,指出它符合诸多修辞原则,证明其存在的价值。With the gradual deepening of China＇s reform and opening as well as under the context of the nation＇s success in acceding to WTO, and in bidding for the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2010 World Expo, the phenomenon of the blended use of Chinese-English code language prevails more and more in China. But it isn＇t thoroughly accepted by all linguists. This article takes the phenomenon as a kind of distinctive rhetorical means and gives reasonable explanations as well. The paper points out that this phenomenon accords with many rhetorical principles and then tries to testify to its value.
