摘 要:为了克服传统的电光混合反馈型频域双稳器件的速度低噪声大等缺点,采用非线性光纤环形腔作为频率反馈元件,提出了一种新颖的全光反馈型可调激光频域光学双稳器件.根据系统的非线性响应和频率依赖反馈响应,建立了光学双稳态参量方程.由双稳态参量方程出发,对频域光学双稳特性以及双稳态的可控操作进行了详细的数值研究.讨论了光学双稳态的开关响应速度.结果表明,这种全光纤激光双稳器件可以实现光强驱动双稳态和增益驱动双稳态.调节环形腔的增益或损耗可以改变光学双稳曲线的位置和形状,实现可控的全光双稳态操作.光学双稳态在频域上的快速跃变可以用来实现激光波长漂移监测和传感.光学双稳态的响应时间为纳秒量级,双稳开关是超快的.Traditional frequency domain optical bistability (FDOB) devices with hybrid electro-optical feedback have low response speed and high noise fluctuations. Hence, a novel tunable laser FDOB device with an all-optical feedback was developed using a nonlinear fiber ring resonator as the frequency feedback element. Parametric equations of optical bistability were established according to the systemg response to nonlinear process and frequency-dependent feedback. Based on the parametric equations, the characteristics and controllable operations of FDOB were analyzed. The switching response speed of the optical bistability was discussed. The analysis showed that the proposed all-fiber laser bistability device can effectively achieve intensity-driven and gain-driven optical bistability. The position and shape of the bistability hysteresis curve vary with the adjustment of gain or loss in the fiber ring resonator, hence realizing the controlled all-optical bistability operations. Sudden jumping of optical bistability in the frequency domain can be applied to monitor laser wavelength shift and achieve sensoring. The optical bistability response time is in the nanosecond order of magnitude and bistability switching is ultrafast.
