摘 要:由于上海租界兼有殖民和现代、罪恶和文明的两重性,导致了生活在上海租界的现代作家的生命体验和文化心理充满了悖论。租界的文化语境,使得个体不能与集体发生真实有机的联系,有过租界体验的知识分子是中与西、传统与现代共同塑造的"中间物",既与他者社会疏离又与自我社会疏离,具有"主体暧昧"的特点。殖民性、民族性、商业性和现代性相交织的租界语境,带来了现代作家叙述租界故事的复杂情态。东方主义、自我东方化、批判国民性与民族主义的纠缠,造成了现代文学殖民文化蕴含的复杂性和"民族寓言"的片面性。Being colonial and modem, evil and civilized, experience and cultural mentality of the modem writers duality of Shanghai Concession filled paradox in the life who lived in the Concession. In cultural context of the Concession, individuals failed to have any real and organic contact with collectives. Intellectuals who had experienced life in the Concession were shaped as "Intermediary" by Chinese and western culture, as well as by tradition and modernity. They isolated themselves not only from outer society but also from their inner world, featuring as "ambiguous subject". As colonialism, nationalism, commercialism and modernism were interwoven in the context of the Concession, modem writers narrated their Concession stories with complicated mental state. Orientalism, self-orientalization, national character criticism and nationalism intertwined with each other and caused complexity of colonial culture implicit in modem literature and one-sidedness of "National Fable".
