摘　　要：在英语语言中,词语的褒贬义是一种普遍存在的现象,但有些词语本身并不具备鲜明的感情色彩,褒贬义的产生主要是受言语活动中所出现的种种因素制约的结果.从语言内部因素入手,通过大量的实例,解析了英语词语褒贬义的语言内部制约因素,从而希望能为英语学习者更好地把握词的感情色彩、增强词语表达效果提供一些有益的参考.In English language, the commendatory and derogatory meaning of English words is a universal phenomenon. However, some words and phrases themselves do not have distinct emotional color. The cause of commendatory and derogatory meanings is restricted by different factors involved in speech activities. This article illustrates the language internal restraint factors of the commendatory and derogatory meanings of English words and phrases with a lot of examples, for the purpose of providing English learners with practical references for their correct use of words and phrases.
