摘　　要：颏兜是正畸临床上常用的口外装置,多用于功能性下颌前伸的控制,骨性下颌前突和骨性开牙合的矫形治疗以及快速扩弓时的垂直向控制。其适应证的选择、疗效、生物力学机制、长期稳定性等一直是正畸学者探索的课题。本文就近年来颏兜治疗的相关研究进展作一综述。Chincup therapy, a kind of extra-oral appliance in orthodontic practice, is effective to control functional mandibular protraction, to do orthopaedic treatment of skeletal mandibular protrution and skeletal open bite, and to reduce side-effect of maxillary rapid expansion. So far, there are many studies to search for this appliance on its indication, long-time effectiveness, biomechanic mechanism and so on. The topic was some information of recent research on chincup therapy.
