摘　　要：分析元理论的起源和发展,对元情报学的研究范围、对象和方法进行初步探讨。认为元情报学是以情报学理论为对象理论的元理论,是对情报学理论的一种科学研究。元情报学的基本任务是分析和研究情报学理论的论证结构,基本概念和原理的构成方式,定义和证明方法,提高情报学论证的明晰性,推进情报学研究的精密化和严格化。On the basis of the analysis of the origin and development of the meta-theory, this paper attemps to make a primary discussion on the research of the study range, study objects and study method of meta-information science. The author thinks that meta-information science is the meta-theory of the information science, and is the scientific research towards the information science theory. The basic tasks of metainformation science are to analyse and research the demonstration prosedure, the elementary concepts and theory, to analyze how the concepts and theories are composed, defined and proved, and to improve the perspicuity of demonstration of the information scicnce, and the precision and the strictness of its study.
