摘　　要：以软交换和分组交换技术为核心的下一代网络的发展和部署已经成为电信业关注的热点,PSTN、有线电视网与IP网3网融合已经是大势所趋,是未来的发展方向.从软交换的网络结构出发,分析了软交换在网络中的各种应用,提出了某省采用软交换的长途网建设方案.The development of next generation network （NGN） ,which is based on the softswitch technology and packet-switched technology, has drawn a lot of attention of communication companies. The convergence of PSTN, Cable TV Network and IP network is inevitable and NGN will be a hotspot in the near future. Based on introducing the structure of softswitch network, the softswitch application on networks is analyzed, the long-distance network project adopting softswitch of a certain province is put forward.
