Objective The objective of the experiment was to discuss and compare the anti-tumor effect of Aspirin and celecoxib on breast eaneer cells MDA-MB-231 through investigating the effects of aspirin, eelecoxib, and whieh combined with anastrozole respectively on the growth of human breast cancer cell MDA-MB-231, Methods The inhibitory effect was detected by MTT assay, and inhibitory effect time- dependently and dose-dependently, different doses of Aspirin or eelecoxib combined with the inhibitory effect Results A decrease in cell number was observed in all of the cell line treated with aspirin and celecoxib compared with controls, which was a time-dependent and dose-dependent. A value of P 〈 0.05 was considered statistically significant. And the inhibitory effect of anastrozole combined with aspirin or celecoxib on MDA-MB-231 was more than that of anastrozole single. A value of P 〈 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Conclusion, There were the inhibitory effects of aspirin and celecoxib on the growth of human breast cancer cell MDA-MB-231 ,and that was almost identical compared with ADM.There was a synergistic effect when anastrozole combined with aspirin or celecoxib on MDA-MB-231.
