摘　　要：分析了信息、知识、情报的内涵及其相互关系,认为图书具有情报的基本属性,而情报则是图书的本质价值,因而当代图书馆工作必须转变观念,将图书的情报性开发作为工作的核心环节。This paper analyzes the connotations of the massage, knowledge and information and the interrelation among them, and holds that the book possesses the basic attribute of the information, and the information is the essential value of the book, therefore today＇ s library must transfor its concept and take the book＇ s information-based development as the core link of its work.
