语言中心论及其对外语教学的启示

摘　　要：阐述了Bickerton的语言哲学观即语言中心论的主要内容,探讨了语言与思维、语言与智力的关系,从而明确语言的本质,即人类行为以语言为基础,语言是人类所独有的。借鉴这样的语言哲学观思考外语教学,探求其对外语教学的启示。Bickerton＇s main idea on philosophy of language, that is, language center theory is introduced in this paper and the relationships between language and thinking, language and intelligence are clarified so as to reveal the essence of language.Human behavior is based on language which is typical to human beings.Thinking about such an idea on philosophy of language, the enlightenment to foreign language learning and teaching is discussed.
