摘　　要：转化生长因子β(transforming growth factor β,TGF-β)是一类具有多种生物学功能的多肽生长因子,能调节多种细胞的生长、分化和移行,参与细胞外基质成分的合成和免疫调节,它不仅是正常眼内组织代谢及功能的基本因素,在许多眼内病理过程中它也起着重要作用。文章就TGF-β的结构、功能以及它与视网膜疾病关系作一简要综述。Transforming growth factor-β （TGF-β） is a kind of polypeptide growth factor with multiple of biological functions. TGF-β can adjust many kinds of cells＇ growth, differentiation and migration, and participates extracellular matrix＇ s synthesis and immunological regulation. TGF-β is not only the basic factor of the normal eye function and metabolism, also plays an important role in many pathological processes. We composed a brief overview about TGF-β＇s construction, function and its relation with retinal disease.
