摘　　要：参观奥运中心区下沉花园那天.离奥运会开幕还有3个月.花园中的建筑部分都已近完成.放眼一望,散落各处的工人都在忙着施工收尾工作。下沉花园作为奥林匹克公园中心区景观的一部分.主要是为四周20多万m^2的地下商业空间提供良好的环境.同时组织疏散公交车站带来的大量人流。南北长700多m.东西平均不足100m的狭长庭院被3条城市道路和5条步行廊桥分割成7个院落。这7个院落的设计．在统一基本色调、确定场景主题的前提下．被交给了5个设计师团队。BIAD—UFO工作室负责1、4和5号院落的设计。There were only 3 months teft for the opening ceremony the day we arrived at the Chinese Gardens. Most of the construction had been done. Some builders in view were scattering around and busy with final touches. As a part of the central landscape of the Olympic Park, the Chinese Gardens are designed to provide a pleasant environment for those 200,000 square-metre underground commercial spaces surrounding them, as well as diverse huge number of visitors brought by the public transportation. The gardens are 700 metres long but less than 100 metres wide in total and divided into seven gardens by three streets and five footbridges. These seven gardens were committed to five design teams. BIAD-UFO is responsible for Garden 1.4 and 5.
