摘　　要：《接骨师之女》是美国著名华裔女作家谭恩美的一部自传体形式的小说。在小说中,谭恩美创造性地使用数字作为能指来表达作品的深层次的文化内涵,与语言及作品的自传形式相结合,表达了她对中西两种文化的阐释和理解,即作为一个华裔作家,在她的眼中美国文化与中国传统文化之间并非是对抗而是一种和谐的结合。The Bonesetter＇ s Daughter is a biographic novel composed by Amy Tan, the widely - read Chinese American novelist. In the novel,Amy Tan creatively uses numbers as signifiers to express her deeper cultural connotation. Jointly functioned with language,the form of biography,the numbers as signifier signify her interpretation and understanding to the eastern and western cultures., that is,the relationship between American culture and the Chinese culture, to her as a Chinese American writer, is harmonious rather than opposite.
