摘　　要：介绍了实时时钟芯片DS12C887的主要技术特点、引脚及内部各寄存器的功能;设计了一种它在MCS-51单片机系统中的应用电路,经过实际电路的安装和调试,给出了芯片初始化和时间、日期数据读取、设置的应用程序。实验表明该系统可键盘设置或实时显示时间和日期,具有电路面积小、工作稳定可靠等优点。The main technical characteristics of DS12C887 were introduced including the function of its pins and internal registers. Here the schematic circuit diagram were designed where it applied in MCS-51 System. After installing and troubleshooting the practical circuit,the programs of initialization, data read and data write of DS12C887 were given. The experiment results showed that this system can set and display time and date correctly through the keyboard, and have the merits of small board area occupied, stability , reliability and so on.
