摘　　要：大业五年(609年),身为最高统治者的隋炀帝西巡青海和河西,历时近10个月。这是中国古代历史上第一位也是唯一一位巡幸河西的中原王朝的帝王。其巡游不仅有深刻的政治目的,而且在河西乃至中国古代历史上具有非同寻常的意义。As the highest - ranking ruler, Suiyang emperor made a ten - month - tour of inspection around Qinghai and Hexi district in 609 DC, which made him the first emperor and the - only Central Plains ＇ emperor in China＇s history to inspect Hexi district. Suiyang emperor＇s inspection tour not only had a deep -going political purposes, but also had an extraordinary meaning in the history of Hexi district, and even in the history of China.
