摘　　要：描述LZW算法的压缩和解压缩基本原理,并重点讨论压缩算法,给出详细的过程。并对传统的LZW算法只能对字符压缩进行了改进,使之可以对数据流压缩。This paper describes the essential principle of compression and decompression in LZW algorithm. It gives emphasis to the compression algorithm, and gives the detailed process of this algorithm. The decompression is very easy, so only gives the curt description. The traditional LZW algorithm only compress the character, this paper giving a new way changes the phenomenon, and makes the LZW algorithm can compress the data stream.
