摘　　要：我国的英语写作教学理论均源于西方写作理论，通过比较可以发现这些理论在英语教学中有各自的优缺点。由此，有必要重新全面审视西方写作理论以确立较为合乎我国实际情况的写作教学理论模式。Pedagogy of English writing in China originates from that of the Western world. Approaches concerned can be evidenced by their strengths and weaknesses via a comparison. Hence demands of a thorough analysis of the westem writing theory and formulation of a realistic Chinese writing system are of great necessity.
