摘　　要：本文根据新疆语言状况的客观事实,运用语言接触的相关理论,具体探讨了语言的竞争与互补在新疆民汉语言接触中的种种表现,认为新疆不同的语言共存于一个统一的社会中,通过竞争与互补,共同构成了新疆和谐的语言生活。Based on an investigation of the languages used in Xinjiang and adopting the relevant theories of language contact, the paper discusses the competition and mutual supplement between Chinese and minority languages in Xinjiang and the results of their contact. The paper concludes that through such competition and mutual supplement the different languages in Xinjiang have survived in a unified society and enjoyed a harmonious coexistence.
